Eva Jenkins
Managing Partner
Eva Jenkins brings more than 20 years of experience
to her role as leader of VIP Staffing. With a
career that had its beginnings in business and
finance, she has shown companies time and again
how she can pair her knowledge of business and
human capital to take organizations to the next
level of success.
Ms. Jenkins has earned a reputation in the Washington,
D.C., area and beyond as a change agent who has
analyzed and redeveloped the recruiting function
for many technology companies to make them more
effective and productive. Her client roster is
impressive. It includes PriceWaterhouseCoopers,
Cyveillance, Orbcomm, Winstar and Bell Atlantic
Communications. She also served as Vice President
of Human Resources for e-Satisfy.com and Director
of Recruiting for DataZen.
In 2001, Ms. Jenkins started VIP Staffing because
she believed she could show companies a cost effective
way to staff their organizations. Her business
background, which includes nearly 10 years working
in finance for NBC-TV in New York City, has instilled
in her a unique drive to do more than merely place
staff members in jobs. She is driven to connect
companies and candidates in a way that increases
productivity and improves financial outcomes for
the businesses she serves.
One of the ways Ms. Jenkins accomplishes her
goals is through her strong commitment to diversity.
She taps into sources that allow her to uncover
candidates from all backgrounds and walks of life.
She has witnessed first-hand how these differences
translate into business success.
Another cornerstone of Ms. Jenkins’ success
is coaching and training. She understands that
the recruiting process doesn’t happen in
a vacuum. She knows that staffing and recruitment,
like all other business functions, must mirror
an organization’s business plan and cultural
focus. That’s why she offers to help companies
evaluate – and sometimes redevelop –
internal processes and train their employees.
Ms. Jenkins also is recognized for several other
strengths:
- Recruiting for all professional levels
- Reducing turnover of key personnel
- Working with companies such as pre-IPO startups
where quick ramp-up and recruitment are key
- Using creativity and proven methodologies
to build recruitment organizations
- Maximizing the benefits of technology and
the resources it can provide
- Using knowledge of HR and other business functional
areas that support recruiting and staffing
Ms. Jenkins is a graduate of New York University
with a degree in Business Administration. Also,
attended George Washington University Law School.
She is certified in Professional Human Resources
(PHR) and is a member of the Society of Human
Resource Management, the Employment Management
Association, the Prince William Chamber of Commerce
and the Virginia Employers Roundtable. She previously
served on the Board of Directors of Virginia Female
Executives and was a volunteer and adult mentor
to FACETS in Fairfax.
